A Note From Our Founder

  • “This brand began in my kitchen—born out of necessity, desperation, and ultimately, hope.”

    For years, I battled a host of chronic issues: fatigue, inflammation, stress overload, severe anemia, and a rollercoaster of symptoms conventional medicine couldn’t seem to solve. I found myself needing to take supplements while simultaneously having an adversity to taking pills, couldn't stomach the taste of most herbs and an unwillingness to deal with the side effects of conventional medications. This led to simply not taking what I needed to and never being able to properly address the problems I had. I thought if I just ate better, then my body would adjust itself on its own.. Well that didn't work. I still craved my favorite comfort desserts... but I was also craving balance, clarity, and energy. Those two simply didn't go together.. Or did they? Maybe if I created a “sweet” way to consume the nutrients my body so desperately needed, while remaining holistic, I could actually heal my ailments!

    So I turned to nature. I started crafting medicinal honey blends infused with powerful botanicals but making them taste like the desserts I missed. The results were literally life-changing. Not only did I begin to feel better, but I found joy in the routine of healing. So much so that I started to tell my family & friends about what I was doing to heal, and creating similar “dessert honey” for them. After 2-3 years of creating these confections that I now call ApothèCrave, my family pushed me to take this to a much larger scale of production.
